Sylvia Paseman, 79, of Taylor passed away Sunday February 21, 2010 at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas.
Visitation will be 6-8 PM Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Providence Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Bohls officiating. Burial will follow at the Taylor City Cemetery.
Sylvia was born May 9, 1930 to Harry and Elsa (Meinen) Ludwig in Fayette County, Texas. Sylvia was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Taylor.
She loved watching her soap operas and "Judge Judy". Sylvia enjoyed polka music and dancing. She also loved to do puzzle books and to play dominoes.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earhart Paseman; brother, James Ludwig; sister-in-law, Mildred Hampton; brother-in-law, Lee A. Pizalate.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Ripper and husband, Bob of Austin and Linda Dismukes and husband, Kennith of Taylor; sisters, Vivian Hees and husband, Alfred and Una Mae Pizalate both of Round Rock; sisters-in-law, Mari Sue Ludwig of Ft. Worth and Helen Simcik and husband, Albert, Jr. of Temple; grandchildren, Robert E. Kruse and wife, Jennifer of Indiana and Janet Boswell and husband, Jason of Taylor; step grandchildren, Brian Dismukes and wife, Kelly of College Station and Katharine Schievelbein and husband, Jesse; great-grandchild, Austin Earhart Kruse of Indiana; numerous nieces and nephews.
