RINGLING -- Services for Cecil Mendenall, 86, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Church of Jesus Christ Gospel Tabernacle with the Rev. Jimmy Morris officiating. Interment will be at Ringling Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Spivey's Reser Funeral Home.
Born June 9, 1916, in Lawton, to W.M. and Dessie Allen Mendenall, he died Dec. 4, 2002, in Ardmore.
A lifetime resident of Ringling, he was a farmer and mechanic before he retried in 1991. He and the former Ruby George were married on July 3, 1934, in Waurika.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Abshire, and a son, Cecil Eugene.
