John W. Diggs, 49, of Morton died Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born Oct. 19, 1965, in Peoria to Billie I. and Frances (Richey) Diggs.
Surviving are his mother, Frances Diggs of Morton; and one sister, Lisa (Jay) Morrison of Niota, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his father.
John was employed at Morton Buildings for 31 years, last working as a mailroom supervisor.
He was an avid Chicago Bears, Cubs and Blackhawks fan.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton.
