Alberta L. Reilley, 66, of Fox Lake, died Nov. 1, 2011, at her home.

Alberta was born on Aug. 7, 1945, in Wild Rose, Wis., the daughter of Albert and Alfia Belle (Crothers) LeRoy. She was a 1963 graduate of Tri-County High School and attended nursing school. Alberta was united in marriage to John "Jack" Reilley on Jan. 6, 1967, in Waukegan, Ill.

Over the years, Alberta was employed with the former Lakeside Lutheran Hospital in Beaver Dam as a nursing assistant, the former Pierce's Supermarket in Fox Lake as a cake decorator in the bakery department and as a newspaper carrier for the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen. Alberta and Jack owned a gas station in Fall River for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed riding with her husband on his truck routes, gardening, crafts, making many many scrubbies for family and friends, scrapbooking, attending the summer band concerts on the shores of Fox Lake, shopping, especially garage sales, and being tech savvy with her computer.

This wonderful lady will be missed dearly by her two children, Mary Anne (Robert) Graves of Wild Rose and Charles (Cyndi) LeRoy of Pine River, Wis.; her stepchildren, Marcella (Glenn) White of Oshkosh, James (Yvonne) Reilley of Columbus, Marilyn (Bud) Rosenstrom of Columbus, and Kenneth (Sue) Reilley of Hancock; step-daughter-in-law, Mary Reilley of Beaver Dam; brother-in-law, Clarence Sedbrook of Beaver Dam; two granddaughters, Sadie (fiance David Auck) Graves and Addie Graves; one grandson, Josh Reany; special niece and nephew, Sara Sedbrook and Joe LeRoy, both of Beaver Dam; 20 other grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren; a great niece and great nephew; one great great niece; her dearest friends, Gertie Christensen, Dodie Trevorrow, Alice Nintop, Rosie Smith, Sharon Bartell, Linda Wackett and Linda Werbelow; many other relatives and friends.

Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Feb. 5, 1986; her sisters, Pat Woreck and Carol Sedbrook; two stepsons, Russell and Emory (Buzz) Reilley and two daughters-in-law Winnogene Reilley and Charlene Reilley and one grandson Christopher LeRoy.

A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov 12, 2011, at the Waupun Assembly of God, 846 E. Main St., Waupun. The Rev. Jeff Casper will officiate. Friends may call at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall. Inurnment of both John and Alberta will be held at a later date at Hancock Cemetery, Waushara County.

Kratz-Smedema Funeral Home in Fox Lake is serving the family.
