Dorothy was the daughter of the late Addison N. White and the late B. Earle White of Lynn who were both natives of Canada. Wife of the late Louis A. Wentworth Jr. for 54 years.

Daughter-in-law of the late Louis A. Wentworth Sr. and the late Abby (Newhall) Wentworth, prominent in Lynn.

Worked for three different executives, one a very prominent attorney in the Boston & Lynn area, until retiring in 1984.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lynn for most of her life. Later she became a member of the East Baptist Church of Lynn and participated in their " Chat & Chew " and other church groups. She remained a member of the East Baptist Church at the time of her passing. Her personal interests, aside from her work, centered on her beloved family, church, friends and music. She loved playing her piano.

Dorothy relocated out of state in 1998 to be closer to her 2 sons.

She is survived by her 2 sons Bradley ( Carol ) Wentworth and Kimball Wentworth; brother Harold ( Marjorie ) White, niece Carolyn White Stickney, nephew Arthur White, granddaughter Kerri ( Chad ) Pavliska, 2 great-granddaughters.

Also survived by her second cousin, Allen G. White, Virginia Wentworth, Ruth Newhall Dunn, 2 grand nephews in New England and cousins in Canada.
