Melissa was born in Dallas, Texas in 1958. The daughter of Lyle and Lucille Childs. Melissa was a very special person. She was down syndrome. Her love for everyone was expressed by hugs for everyone she knew. Her death was very unexpected on Sunday morning Nov.17,2013. She will be missed by her Brother Steven Childs and his family in Corona, California and her sister Linda (Childs) Walden in Rio Rancho, New Mexico and her family. She is also missed by the family she lived with the last few years, James and Judy Pence of Prescott. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Childs, and her father and mother, Lyle and Lucille Childs.
