Grace Wood, 64, of 1006 E. Behrends died at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, 1992, at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.
Born Sept. 19, 1928, in Princeton to Fred L. and Esther Swanson Boher, she married Jay L. Wood on May 15, 1952. He died May 22, 1983.
She also was preceded in death by two half sisters.
Surviving are one brother, Fred L. Boher of Tucson, Ariz.; and three nephews.
She worked at Komatsu Dresser for 26 years, retiring in October 1990. She was a graduate of Bradley University and a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church.
Graveside services were Friday at Elmwood Cemetery.
