WANDA ROSS - Wanda June Ross, 85, formerly of Bedford, IA, passed away in Denver Colorado. June was the oldest of five children born to Tina Marie and William (Bill) Wilcox.
June was born in Page County and raised in New Market, Iowa. In 1943 June married Harold B. (Sonny Ross) and to this union three children were born, Lyndel, Richard (Bud), and Candy.
Most of her married life was spent on a farm near Bedford. She was a member of the Lionesses Club and other Community and Craft Clubs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold, siblings, Virginia Bingham, Robert (Bob) Wilcox, Norma Peterman and Sondra Thompson.
She is survived by her three children; Lyndel (Bill) Struck of Denver, CO; Richard (Bud) and (Tana) Ross of Bedford, IA; Candy Jones of Denver, CO, seven grandchildren: Terry (Becky) Barr, Jason Barr, Carrie (Bryan) Spencer, Jamie (Abduellah) Tayadirt; Jennifer Jones, Sammi Jones, Bill (Somer) Ross. Seven great grandchildren: Michael Barr, Mason Barr, Jessi Wilson, Emily Wilson, Ross Spencer, Josie Spencer, Maizie Ross.
June will be buried at a later date in Fairview Cemetery, Bedford, Iowa.
