Mrs. Eliza Andrews Dies After Five Weeks' Illness

Following a stroke of paralysis suffered five weeks ago, Mrs. Eliza J. Andrews, aged 75 years, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Willie Reagan, of near Lafayette, at nine thirty o'clock Wednesday morning. She is survived by two daughters, the other being Mrs. Hillus Butler, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; four grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lucy Cothron, of the Webbtown section of this county; and one brother, George Andrews, of Dallas Texas.

Funeral services are to be held by Elder Calvin Gregory at one o'clock this (Thursday) afternoon at Rocky Mound, followed with burial in the cemetery there. She was a member of Day's Cross Roads Baptist church and was the daughter of the late Henry and Euphemia Gregory Andrews. She was a native of the Sycamore Valley section and was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends and relatives. In her earlier life she was very active in ministering to the needs of the sick and suffering.
