JAMES W JERROW DIES AT WATERTOWN HOSPITAL

James W Jerrow was taken seriously ill last week and on Friday night was transferred from the home of his son north of Clark, to the Lutheran hospital at Watertown, where he died the following morning at nine o'clock, the cause of his death being indigestion.

Deceased was born at Ballymoney county, Ireland [County Antrim, Northern Ireland] in 1845 and came to the United States when a young lad. On August 22nd 1875 at Chenoa, Ill., he was united in marriage and with his family came to South Dakota about fourteen years ago. He spent most of his life following farming for a vocation but for some time past has been living at the home of his son Ed.

Mr. Jerrow was the father of five children, who with the widowed mother survive and are: Robert and William living in Minnesota, James at Garden City, Ed and Mrs. George Edwards of Clark. Funeral was held from the Congregational church on Monday afternoon with interment in Rose Hill cemetery.
