MADISON Mary Ann Phillips Allred-Williams, 89, formerly of 313 Carlton Road, died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001, at BrittHaven of Madison.The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service, conducted by the Rev. Darrell W. Brumfield and the Rev. Ronnie Shaw. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

She and her late husband, Carlton Williams, were members of the Ellisboro Baptist Church in Madison. She was born Sept. 21, 1912, in Chatham County and retired from Cone Mills in Greensboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Allred; son, Jerry Allred; parents, Avery and Annie Jane Phillips; sisters, Flossie Herrin, Vera Cox and Vertie Poole; brothers, Lawrence Phillips and Wiley Phillips.

She was the beloved mother of daughter, Deloris A. Lewis and husband, William of Greensboro; sons, Jim Allred and wife, Ann of Lexington and Floyd Allred and wife, Patti of Claremont.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service.
