Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 14, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Randy Jessup officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mr. Allred was born in Greensboro, to Lacy T. and Mary Phillips Allred. He was the owner and operator of Ace Industries for over 30 years. He was a Mason and a 32 degree Shriner. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Allred.
Mr. Allred is survived by his daughters, Nancy K. Hill, of Mayodan, Teresa D. Walker and husband, Mike, of Hillsborough; sons, Jimmy L. Allred, Jr. and wife, Theresa, of Cary, Kenneth W. Allred, of Wendell, E. Dwight Allred and wife, Darla, of Mayodan; the mother of his children, Nancy Allred, of Mayodan; sister, Deloris Lewis and husband, William, of Greensboro; brother, Floyd D. Allred and wife, Patricia, of Mt. Airy; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Service.
