Graveside services were held for Leon Howell Childs Jr. at Fairfield cemetery Monday afternoon, April 18 at 4 O'clock with the Rev. Tom Hiser officiating. Interment was in Fairfield cemetery.
Mr. Childs, son of pioneer settlers in the Fairfield area was born Feb 22, 1903 in Fairfield and died recently n Dallas. Son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Howell Childs of Fairfield, he is survived by two brothers, J.L. Childs of Fairfield; and one sister Mary Lou Wood of Houston.
Capps Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
