"Albert Eugene Burns, 83, 516 Monticello St., Somerset, died Saturday, June 5, at Lake Cumberland Medical Center following an illness of several months.

Born Nov. 21, 1892, in Somerset he was the son of Fred and Mary F McPheron Burns, both of whom preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, the former Mae P Shadoan, whom he married Dec 28, 1914, in Somerset; three children, Robert Burns and Lillie Ann Silvers, both of Somerset and Lucille Chitwood, Dayton, Ohio; three sisters, Aliene McClendon, Somerset, Ky., Ella Taylor, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ruth Cundiff, Louisville, Ky: 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

He was a retired electrician for the Southern-Railroad and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 4 pm Monday, June 7, at Somerset Undertaking Company, Inc., with Rev. J. R. Bullock and Rev. Roy Tincher officiating.

Burial in the Somerset Cemetery."
