Mary Hapgood is the daughter of Thomas Hapgood and Judith Barker, and they are my 8th great grandparents.

Mary Hapgood married John Wheeler, they are my 7th great grandparents. Mary and John are the parents of, Damaris Wheeler, who married John Barr Sr.

John Barr and Damaris Wheeler are my 6th great grandparents, and they are the parents of John Breintenall Barr Jr. who married Hannah Fithian Barker.

John Barr Jr., and Hannah Fithain Barker are my 5th great grandparents. John and Hannah are the parents of George Washington Barr who married Mary W. Wood.

George and Mary are my 4th great grandparents, and they are the parents of Daniel Barr.

Daniel Barr married Maria Henning, and they are my 3rd great grandparents, and the parents of Benjamin Franklyn Barr.

Benjamin Franklyn Barr married Virginia Barr (Jenny Barr), and they are my 2nd great grandparents.

Virginia Barr (Jenny Barr) married her adopted dad's nephew, Benjamin Franklyn Barr, and they are the parents of Ida Mae Barr.

Ida Mae Barr, married Charles Arthur George Williams, and they are my great grandparents, and the parents of my grandma Elsie Edna Williams who married my grandpa Edgar Gaylon Dollins.

Jenny Barr was a Cherokee new born baby girl that was left on the doorstep of her adopted parents, one cold snowy morning. She was probably born with in a day or two, at the most, during a snow blizzard while her parents were traveling on the trail of tears.

This is the Verbal History that has been passed down through out the many different generations in my family.

I promised my grandmother, Elsie Edna Williams-Dollins that I would continue looking for her grandmother's biological parents; until, I found them, and if they had not been found upon the time of my death, that the search would pass to my children and grandchildren; until, we found them. Jenny Barr wanted to tell her birth parents, and their Cherokee Nation thank you for giving her life, and a wonderful family to raise her.

This message has been passed down all these years, and hopefully it will be, delivered to the Cherokee Nation, where there might be a verbal story that was also written down. Thank you for your unselfish act that allowed your daughter to survive such a harsh winter. May you and all of your descendants be blessed for what you did, and because of what you did, your descendants are still alive today, with more children being added each year.

Blessings to Jenny's birth and adopted parents, for such great love and devotion that your mercy and grace bestowed upon her and her children, who lived on, through their daughter's, many descendants.

Thank you, and God Bless the Cherokee Nation forever and ever, for their courage and upright devotion to their families. And for the Great Barr Family that raised Jenny, Thank you for your great love, and compassion.

More importantly, thank you, for teaching Jenny Barr about God because she taught her children these same principals that have been passed down from one generation to the next, God Bless you and your descendants for all of eternity, for sharing the Gospel of Christ our Lord, for by doing so you not only saved Jenny and her children while they were upon this earth, but you taught them how they could live forever, so Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I am looking forward to meeting all of my beloved family members that have gone on before me, when we are all in Heaven with our Lord and Savior. Amen
