Walter Dockter, 80, of Lodi, died Jan. 25 in a Stockton hospital. He was a native of Venturia, N.D. and has resided in Lodi for the past 48 years.
Mr. Dockter was employed as a service manager for Tokay Motors for any years and Mitchell & Koenig Chrysler in Lodi prior to retirement.
He was a past deacon and long-time member of Zion Reformed Church. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Loretta Dockter of Lodi; his daughter, Judi; one grandson; his brothers, Adam Dockter and Christoph Dockter; and his sister, Esther Baumann.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Frieda Stroh; and his four brothers, Ephraim, Arthur, Andrew and Ferdinand Dockter.
Interment in Cherokee Memorial Park
