OBIT: Funeral services will be conducted
Monday at 1 p.m. in the Hills Baptist Church
for HARVEY JUDSON (Judd) McKINNEY, 89, of
route 2, Kirklin. The elder resident of Kirklin
died Friday of a coronary occlusion. He was
found sitting in a chair at his home.
Born September 15, 1870 in Sugar Creek
township, he was the son of Asa and Lydia
Thurman McKinney and on March 25, 1894
was married to Clara Power. She survives
him. Mr. McKinney was a member of the Hills
Baptist Church. He had farmed in the community
his entire life.
Other survivors include two sons, Van of
Sheridan and Giles of route 2 Kirklin; two daughters,
Mrs. Fern Wheatley of Tipton, and Mrs. Blanche
Jones of route 2 Frankfort; a brother, Albert of
Frankfort; eleven grandchildren and 15 great
grandchildren.
The Ralph McMullan Funeral Home of Kempton
is in charge of arrangements.
Interment will be in the Hills Baptist Church cemetery.
