Mrs. McKinney was the widow of Albert R. McKinney, who died November 8, 1961. They were married November 9, 1895. She had spent all of her married life in Clinton County.
She was born in Tipton County on October 30, 1877, the daughter of Marian F. and Emma Melson Ploughe.
She was a member of the Hills Baptist Church and a member of the Baptist Women's Circle of the congregation.
Mrs. McKinney is survived by one half-sister, Mrs. Stella Brown of Pendleton; a half-brother, Zeiner Ploughe of Indianapolis, and several nieces and nephews. One son Herbert, a daughter, Beatrice, a sister, and a half-sister preceded her in death.
The body was taken to the Goodwin Funeral Home, where it was announced. Friends may call after 2 o'clock this afternoon.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Hills Baptist Church. The officiating minister will be Rev. Earl H. Anderson and burial will be made in the Hills Baptist Church Cemetery.
