Mark was a friend of mine. He was killed in a motorcycle accident near Tribbey. In his honor and memory, there was a "Memorial Bass Fishing Tournament" held annually for many years in Pottawatomie County to raise money for local kids college scholarship's. Many around here really liked Mark and he is very much missed by all. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and at one time was a hell of a baseball player until he accidentally discharged a gun while crossing a fence line into his shoulder.
