Adela Irene Bullis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bullis, passsed peacefully away last Sunday, Augugust 9, at the age of 4 years and 28 days. The little girl has been ill about a month previous of her death, but at first not seriously. Spinal meningitis finally set in and all hope of recovery was practically adandoned.
Funeral services were held at the Methodist church last Tuesday afternoon, being conducted by Rev. E. B. Service. Four little girl playmates of the departed one acted as pall bearers. They were Grace Moeger, Ruby Nygren, Marian Smith and Ruth Herdliska. The floral tributes were beautiful and profuse. During the services a quartet composed of Miss Nellie Foltz and Gertrude Neumann and Mssrs. Guy Ewing and Claude Briggs sange three beautiful selections. Intermnet was in Oak Knoll cemetery.
Adela was a bright little girl and previous to her last illness was a faithful attendant at Sunday School. Her parents and a baby sister survive her.
