Bernice Eva Bullis, the infant
daughter of Charles Bullis, suc-
cumbed to spinal meningitis Sunday
evening at the home of her grand-
mother. Mrs. Evelyn Bullis, at the
age of 1 year and 19 days. The little
one had been ill but three weeks.
Funeral services were conducted
last Tuesday afternoon at the M. E.
church. Rev. E. B. Service officiated
and the Methodist quartet sang
several beautiful selections. Inter-
ment was in Oak Knoll cemetery.
This is the third time that death
has visited the Charles Bullis family
during the past 10 months, and the
only member remaining is the bereaved
father.
Mr. Bullis takes this means of ex-
pressing his sincere and heartfelt
thanks to the kind neighbors and
friends who have tendered sympathy
and aid to him in his time of sorrow.
