"Death Takes Mrs. Sophia Mohler This Morning

Passes Away at Soldier
s Home at Lafayette, at the Age of 73 -- was Wife of Lewis Mohler

Had lived here many years; was well known

Mrs. Sophia Mohler, aged 73, wife of Lewis Mohler, passed away at 3:00 o'clock this morning at the soldier's home at Lafayette, Ind.
Mrs. Mohler had been a resident of this vicinity practically all her life, was well known and highly respected by everyone. She has been an invalid for some years, caused by a fall in which she was injured. The past two years, her health has been failing resulting in her death this morning.
Before going to the soldier's home, Mr. and Mrs. Mohler resided on West Monroe street in the property they sold to Rev. Fleenor.
The remains of the deceased arrived in Alexandria via the Lake Erie at 2:29 this afternoon and were taken to the W.S. Heritage & Son funeral oarlor to be prepared for burial. The immediate family surviving, are the husband, Lewis Mohler; two daughters, Mary J. Randall, of Alexandria; Carrie Fox, of Seymour; four sons, Frank and William, of Kokomo; John of Tampa, Florida, and Charles, residing southeast of this city.
Funeral arrangements will be given in tomorrow's Times-Tribune.
