Mr. Clifton Ramsey, 82, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Wyatt Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by son, Chet William Ramsey of Chatham, LA; daughters, Patricia Austin of Chatham, LA, Gloria Pepper and husband Steve of Jonesboro, LA, Carolyn Vindel and husband Juan of Chatham, LA; sister, Bessie Mae Ramsey of Jena, LA; brother, James William White of Florida; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his wife, Lessie Lee Ramsey; parents, Jessie and Cora White Ramsey; nine brothers and sisters.
Friends may visit with the family Thursday 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Southern Funeral Home, Jonesboro. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Friday in the Chapel at Southern Funeral Home with Bro. Leroy Skipper officiating. Interment will be at Transport Cemetery, Jonesboro.
