Charles Lee Peterson, 32, of 588 North ST., died yesterday in the Dee Hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Peterson was employed as an auto mechanic at the Utah General Depot.

He was a member of the LDS Twenty-ninth Ward and was an elder and ward teacher.

He was born May 5, 1920, in Uintah, a son of John Frederick and Alta Virginia Keyes Peterson. He was educated in Weber County Schools.

On Aug. 22, he married Glenda Alford in Ogden. On April 18, 1952, they received endowments in the LDS Logan Temple.

Surviving are his widow, one son and daughter, Brent and Leanne Peterson, Ogden: his mother, Uintah: four brothers and four sisters, Phillip Peterson, Peterson: Arthur, Alma S. and Ralph E. Peterson, Uintah: Mrs. Ellis (Evelyn) Miller, and Mrs. Bernard (Josie) Messerly, Ogden; Mrs. Lester (Virginia) Miller, Los Angeles; Mrs. Roland (Elva) Fowers, Uintah.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Funeral Chapel, 3408 Washington Blvd., Bishop James Lefgren of the LDS Twenty-ninth Ward officiating.

Friends may call at the mortuary tonight from 6 to 9 and tomorrow prior to services. Internment will be in Washington Heights Memorial Park.
