Zachariah Robertson, s/o Robert Robertson and Rachel ? not only was an early Vermilion County pioneer, but also a Revolutionary War soldier. According to genealogical information at: http://www.familytreelegends.com/trees/sagetrout/1/data/532940981: "[He] enlisted in the Revolutionary War, on Aug 17, 1781, in the Company of Capt. James Price, 1st Reg, MD line, under Col. Jack Stewart, at Annapolis. He was there when Cornwallis surrendered at Yorktown. Discharged at Annapolis, MD, in August 1783."
He married twice, 1) Mary Keith b. 1760, prob. in MD. and 2) Elizabeth Jones b. 1792 in Harrison Co, KY. Altogether he had 14 children, three (3) by Mary and 11 with Elizabeth. Sadly, his name is no longer recognizable on his humble grave marker.
