Lloyd R. Clark, 85, of Brook, died at 2:06 a.m. Thursday in Jasper County Hospital, Rensselaer. He had been in ill health one year and in the hospital one week.
Born Sept. 20, 1905, in Washington Township, he was a life resident of the Brook Area and graduated from Kentland High School in 1925.
Mr. Clark worked 39 years at Standard Elevator in Brook where he was manager. He also was employed a short time at Ames Department Store in Rensselaer.
He was a member of Brook United Methodist Church and Newton Masonic Lodge 361.
He married Clara E. Anderson in Watseka, Ill., on May 9, 1936. She survives along with a daughter, Mrs. Sally McDougal of Huntsville, Ala.; one son, Thomas J. Clark of Orlando, Fla.; a brother John Clark of Las Vegas; and a sister, Mrs. Alice Nicholson of Catlin, Ill.
