A. CHARMAINE "SHERRY" OVERCASH, 58, of 788 Cleveland Ave., Chambersburg, died at 11 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1996, in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg.
Born Oct. 4, 1937, in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of the late James P. and Jean (Peters) Ridenour.
She was a 1955 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
Mrs. Overcash was the owner and operator of the former Sherry's Beauty Shop, Chambersburg.
She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church, Chambersburg.
Mrs. Overcash also was a member of the Park Ladies Bowling League, Shippensburg.
In addition to her husband, Theodore C. Overcash, she is survived by one daughter, Gina K. Atkinson of Lewisberry; one son, Curtis T. Overcash of Hershey, one brother, Larry Ridenour of Pittsburgh, and three grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with the Rev. Elmer Kipe officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services Friday in the funeral home.
