FRED ACTON

Frederick Acton 68 years, a lifelong resident of the 6th line, west of Watford collapsed and died in a sudden coronary of Monday morning at his home.

He was a son of the late John Acton, one of the best known pioneer families.

Surviving are his wife, formerly Irene Anderson and a family of five sons and one daughter.

Keith, with the Canadian forces in Germany, Duncan of Woodstock, Eldon of Brantford, Raymond and Carman of Sarnia and Mrs. Ronald Grieve (Margaret) of Plympton Township;

also three sisters, Mrs. George Bell (Mabel) of Sarnia, Mrs. Oliver Harris (Ella) and Mrs. Carruthers (Estelle) both of Adeliade township and one brother Clayton of Warwick.

The body rested at Harper Funeral Home, where service was conducted this Wednesday afternoon by Rev. E.B. Toffelmire of St. Andrew's Church and interment was in Watford Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Capes, Herbert Thrower, Austin and Grant Kelly, Clifford Sisson and Lloyd Moffatt.
