She was the daughter of the late George and Suda Hart Harr. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Leroy Bailey, in 1956, her second husband, C.N. Turbyfill, in 1976, and by three brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Turbyfill was a retired florist, owner and operator of Central Florist and a former member of the Roan Mountain Garden Club. She was a member and youth teacher of the Central Church of Christ and attended the Limestone Cove Church of Christ and taught the Adult Class.

Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Friday, May 26, 2000 at Hathaway-Percy Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel.

Graveside services and interment were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2000 in the Southview Section of Happy Valley Memorial Park.
