Son of Dave TRIVETT and Ruby COOK. Married Ann NUNLEY.

Bert Allen Trivett, age 82, of Beech Mountain Road, Elk Park, died October 6th, 2014 at home. He was born June 9, 1932 in Avery County. After serving in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, Bert returned to Avery County and worked as a self-employed rock mason in the area. He was a member of Beech Mountain Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Nunley Trivett; son, Jimmy Trivett of Elk Park; four grandsons, Nathan, Jacob, Matthew and Luke Trivett, all of Elk Park; granddaughter, Summer Trivett of Johnson City, TN; and two great-granddaughters, Tatum Cook of Johnson City and Candice Dawn Trivett of Elk Park.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Lincoln and Matthew Trivett; three brothers, Omer, Jim and Ustace Trivett; four sisters, Pauline Kelley, Louise Oliver, Loy Trivett and Agnes Walsh.

Memorial services were conducted at the Beech Mountain Community Center, officiated by Rev. Dennis Church.
