Obit: Mrs. Eliza Jane Boyer died at her home south of Kempton, on Monday afternoon, after a lingering illness of several months, suffering from complications from grip.

She was the wife of Jefferson Boyer, who preceded her to the grave, some eight years ago. Had Mrs. Boyer lived until June, she would have been seventy-five years of age.

She was a member of the Hill Baptist Church and a faithful follower of its teachings, having united with the church when a young girl.

Six children are left to mourn the loss of a kind loving mother as follows: Ceclia Ryan, Lulu Davids, Maggie Southard, Fannie Spear, Bessie Smith and Preston Boyer.

Besides the children, she leaves five sisters and one brother; Mrs. Anna Reynolds of Whiteland, Mrs. Belle Coleman of Texas, Mrs. Allie Going of near Hill's Church, Mrs. Fannie Henderson of Terre Haute, Mrs. Nancy Angel of Texas and Thomas Ploughe of Scircleville.

Funeral services were conducted from the Hill's church on Wednesday morning at ten o'clock. Rev. Luke Williams pastor of the church officiated. Burial was at the cemetery, near the church...Hill's Baptist Church Cemetery.
