Annie Phipps February 20, 1914 - April 29, 2003 Annie Phipps age 89 of Crossville, Tenn. passed away April 29, 2003. She was born February 20, 1914 in Clay County, Tenn. the daughter of Andrew and Louisa Carter Cherry. She was a homemaker, active in the Woody FCE and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law- James and Mauvalene Phipps of Crossville, Tenn., Bill and Margot Phipps of Clarkrange, Tenn. and Bobby and Edie Phipps of Crossville, Tenn., daughter-in-law- Joyce Phipps of Toledo, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband- Joe Phipps, sons- John H. and Clarence Phipps and sisters- Sarah Arms, Martha Humble, Lillie Daniels and Rosie Johnson.
Her grandsons served as pallbearers.
