Bonnie Jean Bristow was born March 3, 1934 in Bristow, Okla. to Jake and Winnie Buchanan.
Bonnie was an employee of Liberty Glass and retired after 33 years of service. She was also an aide for the school bus for the handicapped of the school system.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Jeannie Kay Bewley; granddaughter Brandy Kay Davis; two brothers, Jay Buchanan and Tom Buchanan; and two sisters, Naoma Hulsey and Betty Payne.
Bonnie is survived by her three children and one step-son, Carolyn Sue Whinery and husband Ron of Eucha, Okla.; son Rocky Dale Bristow and wife Cyndi of Sapulpa; daughter Gayle Lynn Wachob and husband Brett of Sapulpa; and step-son Cleo Watashe Jr. and wife Cindy of Sand Springs; six grandchildren, Ronald Whinery, Christopher Pimburton, Johnnie Bristow, Ryan Whinery, Shelly Swafford and Michael Bewley; brothers and sisters Shirley Cloudus, Raymond Buchanan, Fannie Giacomo, Helen Degraffenreed, June Wright, Mary King, Diane James, Eddie Buchanan and Danny Buchanan; 16 great-grandchilren and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.
Bonnie will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be Monday Oct. 16, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
The family of Bonnie Bristow has entrusted the care of the services to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
