Holland Patent, March 21— At his residence in Wethersfield, yesterday after an illness of about eight months from heart trouble, occurred the death of John Woodbridge, at the age of 76 years.
His father was Edwin Woodbridge who came from Wethersfield, Conn., and was, one of the early founders of Wethersfield No. 2.
John Woodbridge was born In Wethersfield February 12, 1832 and resided continuously on the paternal farm till his death.
On March 7, 1860, he was married to Miss Lucy F. Baker, who died in 1864.
They had one child, Lulu Woodbridge, who is now Mrs. Lulu Wilcox of
Wethersfield. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. Newton (Sarah) Pierce and a brother, Edward Woodbridge, both of Wethersfield. Rome Daily Sentinel, Saturday Evening, March 21, 1908
