Wife of Wilbur L. Dean

Donna LaRee Dean, 75, died Aug. 5 1998 of natural causes in Bonanza.

Mrs. Dean was born in Utah to Wlliam and Maude (Thompson) Smith.

As a child, she traveled by covered wagon from Utah to Idaho, Northern California, and Oregon.

She married Wilbur Dean in Sparks, Nev., on June 12, 1938.

She was a homemaker most of her life.

She also was the owner and operator of a laundromat in the state of Washington for 20 years.

Mrs. Dean was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Women's Relief Society for many years and Garden Club of Orting in the state of Washington for 13 years. She also was involved in a parents-teachers association.

She enjoyed poetry, sewing, quilting, needlework, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an accomplished cook.

Survivors include her husband, Wilbur of Bonanza; children and their spouses, Dan and Mary Dean of Burns, David and Peggy Dean of Ontario, LaRee and Danny Sheridan of Usk, Wash., Maudie Burbank of Spokane, Wash., and Dezri Dean and Darius and Cindy Dean, all of Bonanza; sister and brother-in-law, Freda and Howard Clark of Adin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Aury and Violet Smith of Cedarville, Reed and Zenny smith of San Jose, Calif., and Gene and Helen Smith of Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
