Jessie Cannon Jackson died Satuirday, Jan. 13, 1990 in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Native of Cherokee County, SC and was the wife of Vernon Jackson. Daughter of Walt and Carrie Martin Cannon and member of Una First Freewill Baptist Church. Retired employee of of Spartan Mills. Survivors included: three sons; one daughter; one step-daughter; one step-son; two brothers; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
