Henry Thomas Doggett, son of Moses and Permelia Doggett was born Jan 5, 1870 and passed away Feb 3, 1946 at the age of 76 years and 29 days at his farm home west of Love Lake. He was united in marriage to Miss Alta Aucutt, October 9, 1901 at Edina, MO. To this union five children wer born; Mrs. Glenwood (Zelma) Sunderland, Fellows, Calif.; Mrs. Dale (Letha) Wilt, Atlanta, MO; Mrs. Hollis (Goldie) Holt, Bakersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Raymond (Leota) Long; and Willard Doggett of Laplata. Besides his wife and 5 children, he is survived by 5 grandchildren; Mrs. Maxine Pilgrim, Mrs Lorraine Honn of Taft, Calif., Barbara Long, Kay and Willadean Doggett; 2 great grand children, LaRae Pilgrim and Glenna Honn; 1 sister Mrs. Prudy Blankenship and one brother, Emmett, and a number of nieces and nephews and many friends. A brother Jim, preceded him in death. He was a kind and devoted husband and father and a helpful neighbor and friend.
Funeral services were conducted at the home by Elder S. L. Pettus, and burial was in the Steele cemetery.
