Rosa Lee Ashley, age 82, of Greeneville, passed away Friday evening, October 3, 2014, at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport. She was retired from Greene Valley Developmental Center and was a member of Greenelawn Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years: Fred Ashley; one daughter and son-in-law: Karen and Bob Mysinger of Greeneville; one grandson and his wife: Brandon and Christy Mysinger; two great-grandchildren: Kristopher and Morgan Mysinger; one brother: J. W. Justice of Greeneville; one brother-in-law and his wife: L. G. and Dorothy Ashley of Morristown; several nieces and nephews, including two special nieces and two special nephews: Nita Gilland, Mike Justice, Tina Williams, and Robbie Belt; special friends: Violet Bailey, Mary Ann Bales, Dale and Mary Blazer.

Mrs. Ashley was preceded in death by one daughter: Pamela Kay Ashley; her parents: Earnest and Grace Justice; one sister: Nina Johnson; one brother: Junior Justice.

The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow at 7 o’clock Tuesday evening in the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Lawrence Pack will officiate. Family and friends are asked to meet at Doughty-Stevens at 1:15 p.m. on Wednesday to go in procession to Andrew Johnson National Cemetery for the 2 p.m. committal service.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Mysinger, Kristopher Mysinger, Robbie Belt, Roger Gilland, and Mike Justice.
