Hector R. Durocher, 68, of 7 Eastern Main Road, San Juan, Trinidad, died Friday, March 10, 1995, at Port of Spain, Trinidad.

Mr. Durocher had been employed by Sanders Associates Inc. of Nashua as a design engineer and at one time had been employed at MIT Lincoln Labs in Bedford, Mass.

An avid musician, he at one time served in the VFW Marching Band and the American Legion Band in Nashua. In his younger years, he played in several local dance bands in the Nashua area.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving at the close of the Pacific Campaign. He played in a Navy band, while in the service.

Mr. Durocher was born in Manchester on May 5, 1926, son of the late Romeo J. and Mary Blanche (Messier) Durocher. He was raised in Manchester and in Jamaica Plains, Mass.

Survivors include four daughters and a son-in-law, Deborah Draper of Mustang, Okla., Deanne and Douglas Fortnam and Danielle Durocher, all of Nashua, and D. Durocher of Exeter; two sons and a daughter-in-law, David and Deborah Ann Durocher of Marlborough, and Damian Durocher of Nashua; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Yolande Marshall of Nashua, Paula and Armand Lavoie and Theresa Lawrence, all of Manchester; four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The Davis Funeral Home in Nashua is in charge of arrangements.
