Helen (Durica) Dancheck, age 78, of Daisytown, Pa., died Saturday, August 20, 2005.

She was born August 26, 1926, in Daisytown, Pa., the daughter of John Durica and Susan (Duritza) Durica.

Helen was a member of Saint Nicholas Byzantine Greek Catholic Church, Brownsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Dancheck, in 1968 and by her parents.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Harold Williams; sister, Margaret Temar; grandchildren: Audra and husband Dan McGill and Brad Williams; great granddaughter, Allison McGill; great grandson, Nathan McGill; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Tuesday, August 23, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, August 24, until 10:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home.

Divine Liturgy follows at 11 a.m. in Saint Nicholas Byzantine Greek Catholic Church, Third Avenue, Brownsville, with the Rev. Father Jerome T. Botsko as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Beallsville Cemetery.

Panachida Service in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
