Earl Brasfield
Centerville, Ind.,-Earl Brasfield, age 68, of Centerville, went to be with the Lord Friday, Feb. 11,2011, at Reid Hospital.
Born Jan. 5, 1943, in Kansas City, Mo., to Earl and Annie Cofer Brasfield, he lived in this area for 21 years. Earl was a Riverside High School graduate and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He retired from Print-graphics and was an upholsterer. Earl was a former member of the American Legion. He loved to fish and was a jokester and a great character.
Survivors include his wife, Anna F. Marcum Brasfield, to whom he was married April 22,1972,;son, Staff Sgt. Brandon Brasfield (wife Tami) of New Palestine, Ind.; daughters, Natalie Taylor of Sacramento, Calif., Renia Moody (Husband Aubrey) of Abington; grandchildren, Rick Moody, Nick Moody, Jesse Taylor, Ashley Taylor, Cage Brasfield and Steele Brasfield; brothers, Lyn Brasfield of Paramount Calif., Frank Brasfield of Gallatin, Mo., and Lee Ray Brasfield of Riverside, Calif.; sister, Velma Day of Riverside, Calif.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Bill and Raymond Brasfield.
Visitation for Earl Brasfield will be form 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2011 at Mills Funeral Home, 405 E. Main St., Centerville. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at Mills Funeral Home with Pastor Phillip Marcum officiating. Burial will be in Abington Cemetery.
