Mr. Charles Garnett Watts, 70, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born June 17, 1936, in Louisiana, Mo., to Gladstone "Fox" and Jessie (Davis) Watts.
He worked for Caterpillar Inc.
In 1958, he married Loretta Jefferson, they had four children. On July 17, 1987, he married Mary L. Holmes, who survives along with three sons, William Chatman of Louisiana, Mo., Walter Spencer of Peoria and Ledell Watts of Chicago, Ill.; three daughters, Mary (George) Branch of Baltimore, Md., Sabra (Brian) Watts-Hayes of Jefferson City, Mo., and Dawn M. Watts of Frankfort, Ky.; one brother, Gerald (Gloria) Watts; and one sister, Angie (Frank) Gordon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one son.
Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
