Jimmy Wayne Cottrell, 63 of Junction City, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014, at the John R. Williamson Hospice House.

He was born June 22, 1951, to Joel Bryant Cottrell, Sr. and Helen Frances Moore Cottrell Haltom in El Dorado, AR. He worked as a diesel mechanic for Roberson Trucking.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Joel Bryant Cottrell, Sr.

Survivors include his three sons, Jim Cottrell (Elsie) of Spearsville, LA, Jeffrey Cottrell of Hot Springs, AR, Jeremy Cottrell of Monroe, LA; his mother, Helen Frances Moore Cottrell Haltom of El Dorado; two brothers, Joel B. Cottrell, Jr. (Donett) of Junction City, James Randall Cottrell of Haynesville, LA; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00-2:00 a.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Young's.

A graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2014, at Brown Cemetery in Three Creeks under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors with Rev. James Miller officiating.
