She was born July 13, 1940, in Peoria to Edward R. and Maxine Sinks Dansby.
Surviving are her father of Bartonville; one son, James Hill; one brother, Donald (and Doris) Dansby of California; and one sister, Mary (and Walter) Didesch of Washington.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jason Richards, in 1996, and her mother.
She was a domestic worker with Lutheran Services until retiring in 2000.
Cremation will be accorded.
