Mr. Roger Dale Lowe of the New River Community went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.
He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on August 1, 1956 to the late Elwood and Ruby Parton Lowe.
He was a lifetime member of the New River Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law M.J. Hughett and Rema Lawson Hughett; guardian parents Jerry Zachary, Jr. and wife Thelma; sister-in-law Angelia Kay Jeffers; brother-in-law Gather Lawson. He was also preceded by many other relatives and friends.
He was survived by his loving wife of 34 years Dorcella Hughett Lowe; two very special children Kasi Lowe and Tyler Lowe and wife Amanda; one precious grandson Zachariah Lee Lowe; sister Sharon Kay Thomas of Oneida; brothers Gary Lowe and wife Pearlie of Helenwood, Terry Lowe and wife Jan of the New River Community; Tim Lowe and wife Lisa of Oneida; many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with Lowe family on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 4 pm until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Kermit Phillips and Bro. Jeff Stacey officiating.
Graveside service will be on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the Reed Cemetery in the New River Community.
