Dewalt
Adam Dewalt, the oldest resident of Eastern Crawford county died at the home of his son Daniel Dewalt in Leesville, Thursday, Oct 12th, aged 92 years. Mr. Dewalt was a native of Pennsylvania and settled in Leesville over fifty years ago, he was a tinner by trade and conducted a general store at the cross roads for a number of years. He was quite active for his years and this summer frequently walked between Crestline and Leesville and from Bucyrus to Leesville.
He is survived by four sons, William living in Dakota, John, in Bucyrus, Daniel in Gallion and Samuel in Leesville, one daughter in California, 13 grandchildren, and 37 great grand children. He was bereft of his wife about 20 years ago.
The funeral was from the house with interment in Leesville cemetery.
