She departed this life in Mountain Home, Arkansas in September 27, 2014.

On April 10, 1946 she was united in marriage to Mr Billy Scott Jean, in
Caruthersville, Missouri. They were the parents of 3 sons.
She was employed as secretary for the R-3 school system and also for the Caruthersville Schoo System.
Jo Marie was a very faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville She spent many, many hours taking care of the lawn of the church and also decorating both the lawn and the sanctuary for special services and for holidays. She was also a member of the Women's Club.
Survived by - 2 sons - Darrell Jean and Brian Jean, 7 grandchildren - Ami Jo Jean, Dede Jean, Alan Jean, Christina Kennedy, Will Jean, Patrick Jean, Benjamin Jean, 5 great grandchildren - Alan Keith Jean III, Trevor Kennedy, Ethan Strickland, Matthew Norwood, Andrew Norwood.
And many other relatives and friends.
Preceded by - her husband - Mr. Billy Scott Jean, her parents - Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Altom and her son - Keith Jean - 1 sister - Irene Klinkhart.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville, Missouri at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Doug Boyd. Interment was in Maple Cemetery. Pall bearers: Jon Constant, Trey Constant, Jim Young, Charlie Jones, Jeff Hudgins, Brian Gunnels. Honorary pall bearers: Fred Boyd, Billy McCullough, Troma Jones, James Ralph Murphy.
