Obituary for Elizabeth Godfrey
Elizabeth Godfrey, 89, of Anderson, died peacefully surrounded by her family September 24, 2014 . She was born February 13, 1925, in Truman, Arkansas, and resided most of her life in Anderson.

After graduating high school she attended Indiana University .

She was retired from Libby's Food Corporation.

She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, and the American Legion Post 127.

Libby lived a wonderful life, she enjoyed her family, spending time at her lake house, traveling, and cheering Indiana University basketball. As well, there were many found memories at the skating rink Libby owned.

Libby is survived by her nieces and nephews, Kellie (Mark) Wile-Bush of Indianapolis, Kerrie "Cookie" Wicker of Anderson, Kenneth "Casey" (Christine) Wicker of Anderson, and James Soden of Ft. Wayne, great-nieces and nephews, Kristal McCorkle, Kara Wile, Brady Fisher, and Carter Wicker.

She was preceded in death by her parents James and Lucille (Barton) Wicker, husband Ed Godfrey, brothers, Kenneth and James Wicker, and nephew Mike Wicker.

Libby requested a private Mass and visitation.

Burial will take place in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, IN.

Funeral Services have been entrusted to the Loose Funeral Homes and Crematory, 200 W. 53rd St, Anderson, IN 46013.
