Mrs. Anna B. V. Reese, 82, widow of W. Dewey Reese who for many years was treasurer of the Oneida County Agricultural Society, died at her home at Wright Settlement.

Mrs. W. Dewey Reese Dies in Wright's Settlement
Rome, Nov. 19 – Mrs. W. Dewey Reese died last night at her home at Wright's Settlement. She had been in poor health for 18 months. Her maiden name was Anna Barnes Vredenburgh and she was born on what was formerly the Huntington farm in upper N. James St., 82 years ago. There in 1857 she married Mr. Reese and went to live in the house where she had since lived. Mr. Reese died 15 years ago. Mrs. Reese is survived by one daughter, Miss Carrie Reese. She was a member of the Zion Episcopal Church. Her husband was for many years treasurer of the Oneida County Agricultural society.

Funeral services will be held from her late home at Wright Settlement Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 22,at 2 o'clock Interment in Wright Settlement Cemetery.
