Funeral services were held for Doris Wayne Daniel of Fairfield on Saturday at Round Prairie Baptist Church with Ed Ridge officiating. Interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Daniel was born January 28, 1925 in Fairfield to Robert Clay and Willie Mae (Weaver) Childs. She was a member of the bridge club and a faithful member of Round Prairie Baptist. She was also a pie cook at Sam's Restaurant.
Mrs. Daniel died March 9 in Fairfield at the age of 81.
She is survived by he son Ponte Daniel; daughter Noelle Glass; bother Aubrey Childs; grandchildren Amy Daniel, Sonny Daniel, Laurie Romero, Isabel Daniel, Bryan Glass and Melisa Noland and 12 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by her parents; husband Sam Daniel and two sons, Stephen Daniel and Sammy Wayne Daniel.
Pallbearers were Charles Mac Robinson, David James, Tom James, Bobby Childs, Willie Willis and Jeff Casey.
Arrangements were by Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
